Since our first day in 1959, S&W Race Cars has been dedicated to the production of championship winning race cars. Beginning with Walt Weney’s record holding C/D of the early 60’s and continuing to the current Top Alcohol Funny Cars of Alexis DeJoria and Paul Gill, S&W Race Cars’ dedication to winning performance & quality has never changed. On track testing is an important part in the development of all S&W Race Cars products. Not only are our products CAD designed & tested on computers but before we release any new product or incorporate a new design idea into one of our chassis, it is thoroughly tested on one of our house cars.

My name is Terri (Weney) Gdowik, President of the S&W Performance Group. Our company was founded by my father, Walter Weney, who was steering our ship from 1959 until his retirement in 2005. My brother, Scott Weney, then took over the Presidency from 2005 until his passing in 2014. My brother Michael was President from 2015 until February 2020.

Today, after 61 years of family and employee dedication, we are recognized as a leader in our industry. S&W brand products are proudly manufactured in Spring City, Pennsylvania- USA, where we build for past, present & future racing legends.

In addition, we are recognized for our outstanding technical support service that is provided by our staffs countless years of on-track racing experience and hands-on working knowledge. The goal of this blog is to communicate and interact with you directly on ideas, experiences, issues, and helpful articles.
